Live Podcast
A glimpse of our first pre-event featuring the insightful and thought provoking Prakhar Gupta. Presenting “Connecting The Dots”, a live podcast with @prakharkepravachan who collaborated with us to have an immersive podcast-like discussion that enriched our thoughts with his candid answers and practical advice that filled the venue with applause and marked the beginning of many amazing events that we aspire to organise.
We got an insight into his journey from Faridabad to New York. He gave us his ‘Panoramic Perspective’ on life and talked about topics ranging from Indian parenting to figuring out your calling and dreaming big..
This year, our team planned a unique and thought-provoking pre-event called ‘Connecting the Dots’ on the 15th of December, 2022; with a popular Indian Youtuber, content creator, author and podcaster; Prakhar Gupta. His core content revolves around psychology, intriguing philosophical ideologies, and personality development.

This Pre-event was conducted in collaboration with ‘Conscious Planet’, an organization envisioned by Sadhguru and is popularly known as the ‘Score for Soil Movement’. It is a means to turn the awareness of the world towards soil conservation.
The event commenced with a seminar conducted in the Juhu Jagruti Hall at Mithibai College by Mr. Prince, a volunteer at Conscious Planet. He enlightened us on the ongoing exploitation of soil and the urgency to spread awareness for the same so as to prevent it.
In order to honor the cause, the whole team of TEDxMithibaiCollege and the volunteers of Conscious Planet gathered at the Juhu Beach where a friendly football tournament took place among the members and volunteers. It was a joy to connect with each other and the Earth by the means of this event.
Sneaker Event
TEDxMithibaiCollege conducted a fair exclusively for sneakerheads at our college ‘SNEAKx’ in collaboration with Philips Sneaker Cleaner. The fair had a number of stalls selling multiple products, ranging from sneakers to street wear and food. The creatives department did a marvellous job by decorating the venue in the theme colours of TEDxMithibaiCollege which helped in creating a cohesive event Collaborating with Philips added a fun and interactive element to the festival, as people could test out the Philips Sneaker Cleaner and get their sneakers cleaned for free. The crowd loved the range of products offered, from sunglasses, trendy sneakers to graphics tees. The refreshments and delicacies offered were a cherry on top. Amongst all, the game stalls were an absolute hit! The event was wrapped up with a lively jamming session with the committee and the crowd cheering along with the spirit of togetherness.
